Project |02 Auditorium Acilia/Dragona, Rome, Italy

​The concept for the Auditorium was developed arround an ideea from an interview of OMA: "the cultural centers serve a minor part of the population because the magiority knows the exterior but few know what lays inside".  in this way, i've tried to gather all the public space for bringing them outside.



The public space is making noise. The center of the public space generates the sound.  Che concept lays around the ideea that the sound generated by the main point gets in contact with the entire, crosses the building perforating the space and bringing the public space outside.

A place for relax, for observing the northern lights. A place where man can be himself, where man can rediscover nature and spirituality.  A place where the contemporary individual can experience sensations and emotions in the same way as the primitive man. A place based on the concept of PANOPTICON, the feeling of solitude, in the same way as it was felt by the primitive man, the man and the world.
